Josh Rader was a member of the sports medicine staff from June, 2010 through August, 2022. This bio now exists as a historical reference.
Winchester native Josh Rader was added to the Athletic Training staff in June 2010 after working part-time at SU the previous six months.
In August, 2019, he was promoted to Associate Head Athletic Trainer.
Rader, a 2007 James Madison University graduate, came to Shenandoah after completing his Master's Degree at Alvernia University in 2009.
Hired as a part-time athletics trainer in January 2010, Rader worked with the men's basketball and baseball teams in a part-time role.
When the university decided to expand its AT personnel, Rader was the first of two new athletics trainers to be added to the department.
In addition to working with the baseball and men's basketball teams, Rader works with men's soccer program in the fall.
He also serves the department as a member of the Hornets RED team on racial equality and diversity.
Josh and his wife, Bekah, are the parents of two sons and live in Frederick County.
