Former NFL standout Ben Taylor is in his sixth season as an assistant coach with the Shenandoah University football team.

Taylor, a 2017 selection to the Virginia Tech Hall of Fame, joined the staff prior to the 2015 campaign as a volunteer on the offensive side of the ball.

In 2016, he was promoted into a part-time role assisting the Hornets wide receivers. For 2020, he transitions back into a volunteer role.
