Samuel Arter

Samuel Arter was an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Shenandoah University from September, 2021, through June, 2022. This bio now exists as a historical reference.

Samuel Arter joined the Shenandoah University athletics staff in September, 2021 as the department’s first-ever full-time assistant strength and conditioning coach. In this role, he works under the direction of head strength and conditioning coach Brett Sabol to assist with the sports performance needs of the department’s 22 intercollegiate athletics programs and nearly 600 student-athletes.
 
Arter comes to Shenandoah after graduating with his master’s degree from Liberty University in May, 2021. During his time at the DI school, Arter completed an internship with the athletic department working with a variety of the Flames squads.
 
As an undergraduate at Liberty, Arter was a member of the track & field program, served as team captain for three years, and was a three-time NCAA preliminary qualifier during the outdoor seasons.
