Former Mary Washington standout Taylor Paige joined the women's lacrosse staff in August, 2018.

Paige, a Charlottesville native, played goalkeeper for perennial DIII power Mary Washington from 2011-2015. During her time at the CAC school, she set a league record for save percentage in a game in a shutout over Frostburg State University.

Following her graduation, Paige served as the head coach of the San Marcos (California) High School girls team while also serving as the goalkeeper coach for UC Santa Barbara.

In fall of 2016, Paige began a two-year run as an assistant coach at ODAC rival Bridgewater College. She mentored seven All-ODAC honorees in her two seasons on staff and also served as the interim head coach during the summer of 2017.

With the Hornets, Paige is involved in all aspects of the program including practice and game management, on- and off-campus recruiting, academic mentoring and community service initiatives. She also serves the department as a member of the Hornets RED team on racial equality and diversity.
