Five-year standout Abbie Marquette '21 joins the women's soccer staff for the 2022 season as a graduate assistant. In the fall of 2022, she added assistant athletic communications director duties to her duties.
Marquette, a three-time All-ODAC honoree, transitions into the grad assistant role after playing for the Hornets for five seasons. In that time, the Spring Grove, Pennsylvania native played in 85 games with 82 starts. In that span, she had six goals and five assists for 17 points while playing primarily as a defender.
Marquette earned All-ODAC honors in her final three seasons in an SU uniform and served as a team co-captain.
Now in her second year of graduate school, pursuing her Master's in Public Health, Marquette is involved in all on-field aspects of the program. With communications, she assists with all game day operations and statistics.
