Hannah Hoefs rejoined the women's soccer staff in December, 2021 after previously working at SU from August, 2020 through July, 2021.

For the fall, 2021 season, Hoefs was an assistant coach at DI Mount St. Mary's (Md.).

Hoefs originally joined Liz Pike's staff after wrapping up a stellar career in the midfield at Loyola University of Maryland.

Hoefs, a New Market, Maryland native, was named Patriot League Player of the Year in 2019 after leading the league in both goals, nine, and points, 21. 

Her senior campaign earned her the program's first All-Region honoree since 2015 and a first team All-Patriot League as well as an All-Patriot League Tournament nod. In February 2020, Hoefs was invited to try out with the Washington Spirit of the National Women's Soccer League. 

At Loyola, Hannah majored in Communications and Journalism. Her coaching career started in 2016 when she began  with Coerver Coaching by assisting clubs, coaches, and players in Coerver Curriculum.

Hoefs also has four years of experience providing private training and holds a US Youth Soccer Grassroots Coaching D License. 

She assists in all aspects of the program.
