Men's Soccer Defeats Macon

ASHLAND, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's soccer team picked up its second straight victory Tuesday afternoon by downing host Randolph Macon College 1-0.

Sophomore Mihailo Prelavic (Podgorica, Montenegro/Olympic Heights) tallied the lone goal for the Hornets (5-4-2) off an assist from Akmed Mansaray (Alexandria, Va./TC Williams) in the 54th minute.

Keeper Kyle Hodges (Virginia Beach, Va./Kempsville) made four saves in earning his third shutout of the season.

This win is the first ever for SU against R-MC (6-4-2). Shenandoah had lost seven of the previous eight meetings between the two schools and one game ended in a tie.

The Yellow Jackets out shot their visitors 16-9 for the contest.
