WINCHESTER, Va. - Sophomore Onyie Onunaku (Bristow, Va./Stonewall Jackson) turned in his second strong performance in as many nights Saturday to lead Shenandoah to a championship in the 3rd Annual imPRESSions PLUS Apple Tip-Off Classic.

Onunaku scored 14 points and pulled down a career high 16 boards to help Shenandoah (2-0) to defeat Lincoln University 96-75. His performance earned him MVP honors at the tourney.

Lincoln (1-1) got 32 points from Kyle Myrick, but it was not enough as SU saw seven of its eight players that played at least 10 minutes score in double figures.

In addition to Onunaku's 14, Chris Rhone (Washington, D.C./Northwestern) added 19 and Kenny Purnell (Baltimore, Md./Lake Clifton) to earn spots on the all-tournament team. The team was rounded out by Myrick and Guilford's Genaro Lawhorn.
