WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is inducting six individuals and one team into its Hall of Fame Class of 2026, with today's spotlight focusing on Men's Basketball legend William 'Bill' Hill, Jr.

Hill was the second player in Men's Basketball program history to eclipse 1,000 points in his career. He would extend that feat to become the basketball scoring leader between both the men and women, a feat that wouldn't be topped for almost 20 years, until 1994.

An electrifying player, Hill, to date, still sits in the top 4 in program scoring, with 1,817 points, and a career average of 18.2 points per game (5th). Hill accumulated a multitude of 20+ point games throughout his career.

Bill Hill and the rest of the inductees will be enshrined in the hall of fame on October 17, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. in the James R. Wilkins, Jr. Athletics & Events Center.
