LEXINGTON, Va. - Shenandoah University bounced back Thursday afternoon from a non-league loss Wednesday night with a 10-4 non-conference victory at Washington & Lee.
The Hornets (14-8) scored four runs in the third and three in both the fifth and sixth to down the Generals (14-7).
Shenandoah has now won 11 of 14 non-league games this season and evens its record against ODAC opponents at 2-2.

Jason Burgess (3-0) tossed the first six innings to earn the victory. He gave up one run on four hits and one walk against two strikeouts before turning it over toÂ

Drew Dobbins.
Dobbins took over for Bowers in the middle of the seventh and got the final seven outs of the contest. He also allowed one run (on three hits) and walked one.
SeniorÂ
Ryan Anderson, a 2006 All-American, led the Hornets at the plate with a 4-for-5 day that included a double and a triple. Anderson, who also drove in a pair of runs, now needs just one more triple to be the all-time leader in that category at SU.

Scott Lambert had four RBI and three hits in five at-bats.
William Lewis led the hosts with a 3-for-4 afternoon. Steve Marcott was the loser for W&L; he have up four runs (none earned) on six hits in 4.0 innings.
