GRANTHAM, Pa. - Messiah College used a pair of three-run innings to rally for an 8-6 non-league baseball victory over visiting Shenandoah Wednesday afternoon.
Shenandoah (24-15) scored three runs in the first, but the Falcons (15-17) answered with three of their own in the second, another in the third and three more in the fifth.
Those final three runs gave MC a 7-5 lead and was a lead they would not relinquish.
SU was held to just four hits in the game, including two by seniorÂ
Ryan Anderson. Anderson finished the day 2-for-4 and drove in the Hornets first run of the game with a single in the top of the first.
