WINCHESTER, Va. - Visiting Trine (Ind.) held on for a 70-68
non-conference men's basketball victory over Shenandoah Tuesday

before Shenandoah (3-8) made its run.

next 35 points in a span of 11:28 to bring itself to within one

that gave the Thunder that seven-point lead, and gave itself a
chance to win it by scoring three straight layups and forcing two
TU turnovers in the next 32 seconds.

by hitting 1 of 2 from the line with 20 seconds left, SU advanced
the ball into its frontcourt before calling timeout with 16 seconds
remaining.

game-tying points.

and the Thunder's Scott Rogers purposely missing the ensuing free
throw.

3-pointers wghile Alfieri and Jackson had 13 each.

Kline had a game-high 25 for Shenandoah and freshman Mo
Safren added a season-high 11. Safren helped the Hornets
rally from that 17-point second half deficit with three 3-pointers
on four attempts.
