GLENSIDE, Pa. - Shenandoah University dropped its second MAC
Commonwealth game to start the 2010 season Saturday afternoon with
a 3-0 loss to Arcadia.
Ashley Ditchey, Ashley McCarthy and Adrianne Altera all scored
in the first half for the Knights (7-4, 1-1 CC) to help down SU
(5-3, 0-2).
Shenandoah was outshot 29-3, including 20-0 in the opening 35
minutes of play.
AC also had a 24-6 advantage in penalty corners.
Hornets goalkeeper Sarah Clare
finished the game with 12 saves.
SU is back in action at home on Tuesday with a non-league
contest against Hood.
