FROSTBURG, Md. - Host Frostburg State earned its first men's
soccer victory of the 2010 season Friday night with a 2-0
non-conference win over visiting Shenandoah.
Dillon Muise tallied twice for the Bobcats (1-3), scoring in the
sixth and 26th minutes to dispatch the Hornets (2-3).
Muise hit the game-winner just 5:19 in when he converted a
through ball from Chris Coello and then had an unassisted tally
from 20-yards out at 25:08.
Shenandoah dominated in shots, taking 15 of 23 on the game, but
FSU keeper Stephen Cavallo made six saves to keep the Hornets on
the losing side.
SU also had all three of the game's corners.
The Hornets are back in action with a Tuesday contest at
Stevenson University.
