WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University women's volleyball team earned its third win in the past 24 hours with a 3-0 non-league sweep over Mount Aloysius Saturday afternoon.
Shenandoah (4-2) jumped all over the Mounties (2-2), winning at 7, 18 and 20 in just 60 minutes.
The Hornets hit .362 for the match and committed just 11 errors against 45 kills in 94 attempts.
Senior Megan Gillispie led this effort with 12 kills while sophomore Haley Smith added 10.
Each woman only had one error in a combined 41 attempts.
Brooke Strathy and Kelcy Brown had 26 and 18 assists, respectively while Gillispie had a team-high nine digs.
SU opens up USA South Conference play on Wednesday at Ferrum.
