Volleyball Rallies for Win

WINCHESTER, Va. - Shenandoah University earned its second straight volleyball win of the week with 3-2 non-league victory over Washington (Md.).

Shenandoah (3-2) was a 15-25, 25-22, 25-16, 23-25, 15-12 victor over the Shoremen (6-2).

Washington had come into the day with a six-match winning streak.

In the decisive fifth set, the Hornets rallied from a 8-5 deficit at the changeover to seize the victory.

SU began its comeback with a Rachel Maki kill off of a Brooke Strathy assist and then cut it to 9-8 thanks to a Kelcy Brown kill followed by a WC attack error.
