WINCHESTER, Va. - Visiting Frostburg State continued its winning ways with a 1-0 non-league women's soccer victory Thursday evening on Sprint Field at Shentel Stadium.
The Bobcats improved to 7-1 with the victory over Shenandoah (5-4).
Adria Graham finished off a cross from Dorie Gedridge for the only goal of the contest.
In the 27th minute, Gedridge found Graham on a run right down the middle of the pitch and hit her in stride with the cross.
Graham then dribbled into the box and slipped her shot past diving Hornets keeper Kat Terza.
The shot was one of 12 FSU had on the night. The Bobcats outshot SU 12-11 while the Hornets had three of four corners awarded.
Terza had four saves and Bobcats keeper Michelle Buckmaster made six.
Shenandoah opens up USA South Conference play on Saturday with a 2 p.m. contest at N.C. Wesleyan.
