CRESSON, Pa. – Shenandoah University opened its final week of the volleyball regular season with a 3-0 loss at Mount Aloysius Tuesday evening.
The Hornets (11-14) were close in all three sets, losing at 23, 23 and 19 to the Mounties (9-15).
Senior Megan Gillispie paced SU with six kills with classmate Mary Harshman and junior Haley Smith both adding five.
Freshman Blake Parkes chipped in 11 assists with Nicole Mueller adding 14 digs.
Shenandoah completes its home slate Thursday night at 7 in a non-league matchup against Frostburg State. Gillispie and Harshman, along with classmates Kelcy Brown, Emily Jones and Chantelle Phung, will be honored prior to the contest.
