HARRISONBURG, Va. - Host Eastern Mennonite sent Shenandoah University down to its third straight men's soccer defeat with a 2-0 ODAC win Wednesday afternoon.
The Royals (4-3-1, 2-0 ODAC) scored a pair of goals in rapid succession to down SU (2-6, 0-2).
Christian Rhine scored unassisted in the 57th minute and then just more than three minutes later Caleb Golladay tallied off of a Mark Mast assist to give the hosts all of the offense they would need.
Eastern Mennonite owned a 25-9 advantage in shots and took nine of the game's 13 corners.
James Dutcher had six of his eight saves for the Hornets in the second half.
Shenandoah travels to Lynchburg on Saturday for a 7 p.m. ODAC contest with the LC Hornets.
