SWEET BRIAR, Va. – Shenandoah University snapped a two-match women's soccer losing streak with a 5-0 ODAC victory at Sweet Briar Saturday afternoon.
Shenandoah (9-7-1, 7-3-1 ODAC) got all of the offense it would need on an Anna Wilson penalty kick conversion in the 25th minute.
The Hornets then added goals in the 30th, 44th, 57th and 68th minutes to dispatch the Vixens (3-10-1, 1-10).
Averi Rosena had two goals with Kati Richardson and Courtney Boschert adding one each.
Jennifer Nguyen had two assists to complete the SU scoresheet.
Shenandoah outshot its hosts 29-2 and took all five of the game's corners.
Hornets keepers Nicole Pratt, Kristen Barrickman and Alyssa Jaghab combined on the shutout with Jaghab and Pratt both making one save each.
