LEXINGTON, Va. – Host Washington and Lee kept its unbeaten ODAC men's soccer record intact Wednesday afternoon with a 3-0 victory over Shenandoah.
The Generals (6-0-5, 4-0-2 ODAC), who are also ranked tenth in the South Atlantic Region, scored two of their three goals in the first half to dispatch SU (0-12, 0-5).
Zach Colby had the game-winner for W&L, tallying unassisted in the 14th minute, before Zach Clarke scored in the 30th and 60th minutes to provide the final margin of victory.
Washington & Lee had 28-5 and 13-2 advantages in shots and corners, respectively.
Rodrigo Casteriana had five of his six saves in the first half for the Hornets.
Shenandoah continues this road trip on Saturday with a 5 p.m. game at Emory and Henry.
