WINCHESTER, Va. – Visiting Guilford College rallied for a 3-2 ODAC men's soccer victory over Shenandoah University Saturday afternoon on the Sprint Field at Shentel Stadium turf.
Shenandoah (0-6, 0-1 ODAC) quickly jumped out to a 2-0 lead on Andrew Ralli goals at 6:04 and 9:05, but could only watch as Guilford (3-2-1, 1-0) stormed back.
The Quakers scored twice in a span of 2:02 late in the first to tie it and then got the game-winner in the 75th minute.
Jake Elsey got that game-winner off of a Colin Dillon assist at 74:43.
GC outshot SU 21-10 and also held a 9-3 advantage in corner kicks.
Rodrigo Casteriana had six saves for the Hornets.
Sophomore Eduardo Santiago assisted on Ralli's first goal.
Shenandoah steps out-of-conference on Tuesday for a 7:00 home contest against Hood.
