WINCHESTER, Va. – The Shenandoah University women's soccer team opened its ODAC slate Saturday with a 5-1 victory over Randolph.

Shenandoah (3-4, 1-0 ODAC) wasted little time in jumping on the WildCats (2-5, 0-1), scoring just 2:25 into the contest.

Courtney Stull had that initial goal, and less than 10 minutes later Danielle Burris netted the eventual game-winner.

Burris' goal at 9:19 was also unassisted.

Stull fed Jennifer Nguyen at 12:35 for the third goal before Kirby Talbert closed out the first half scoring with an unassisted tally at 22:18.

The final two goals, by Alysha McCleaf for SU and Brittany Hammons for Randolph, came in the final two minutes of the game.

Hammons' shot was the only one of the game for the 'Cats.

SU took 25 shots of its own and seven of the game's eight corners.

The Hornets host Hollins on Wednesday at 7 in another ODAC contest.
