WINCHESTER, Va. – The Shenandoah University women's soccer team earned its second straight ODAC victory of the season with a 7-0 shutout of visiting Hollins Wednesday night.
The Hornets (4-4, 2-0 ODAC) dominated Hollins (1-4, 0-2) throughout the match.
Shenandoah outshot its visitors 36-2 over the 90 minutes and took all seven of the game's corner kicks.
Coach Liz Pike saw her squad produce all of the offense it would need in the 11th minute when Anna Wilson finished off a Danielle Burris feed for what proved to be the game-winner.
The Hornets would add goals in the 18th, 21st, 22nd and 24th minutes to take a 5-0 lead at the break.
In the second half, sophomore Kati Richardson had both of the victors goals, scoring at 52:49 and 58:21.
Burris had a team-high five points on two goals and one assist with Wilson and Kelsie Luddington both chipping in a goal and an assist.
Richardson, with two goals, and Leanne Mayo (two assists), rounded out the multiple point scorers.
HC goalkeeper Megan McKee made 16 saves.
Shenandoah is back in action on Saturday at Emory & Henry in another ODAC contest.
