Women Tie Wasps

EMORY, Va. – The Shenandoah University women's soccer team extended its ODAC unbeaten streak to three matches with a 0-0 double overtime tie with Emory & Henry Saturday afternoon.

Shenandoah (4-4-1, 2-0-1 ODAC) peppered the Wasps (1-7-1, 1-1-1) with 19 shots, including 11 on frame, but could not find the back of the net.

E&H keeper Sarah Jerome made those 11 saves in the driving rainstorm to preserve the result for her side.

SU keeper Erin Septer was forced to make just three saves.

The Hornets also took nine of the game's 11 corner kicks.

Shenandoah is off until making another trip down I-81 next Saturday for a 2:30 ODAC game at Roanoke.
