ASHLAND, Va. - League leading Randolph-Macon maintained its position at the top of the ODAC volleyball standings with a 3-0 victory over Shenandoah Friday evening.
The Yellow Jackets (15-6, 8-0 ODAC) won at 20, 15 and 9 over the Hornets (13-9, 3-4).
R-MC hit .176 for the match while holding SU to 21 kills against 20 errors in 117 attempts.
Freshman Elizabeth Lamont paced the Hornets with seven kills with classmate Kaitlyn Kelley adding five and sophomore Rachel Roberts three.
Setter Rachel Cerretani had 15 assists with freshman libero Brandi Griffith leading the defensive effort with 18 digs.
Shenandoah continues ODAC play with a noon match at Virginia Wesleyan Saturday afternoon.
