LEXINGTON, Va. - No. 12/18 Shenandoah University moved within one game of earning the top seed at the upcoming ODAC baseball tournament by splitting a doubleheader with Washington and Lee Wednesday afternoon.
The Hornets (27-7, 16-3 ODAC) were 15-4 winners in the nightcap after W&L (15-10, 8-8) was a 6-3 victor in the opener.
Shenandoah can clinch the top-seed with a win tomorrow at home in a 4:00 contest against second-place Bridgewater.

Daniel Freshley paced a 17-hit attack with four hits in six at-bats with Corbin Lucas adding three and Nolan Overby, Michael Paul and Ricky Pardo contributing two each.
Shenandoah scored one run in the first only to see the Generals score two in their half of the frame along with single runs in the second, third, fifth and seventh innings to take the game one victory.
