ASHLAND, Va. - Host Randolph-Macon scored the game's lone goal in the first half on its way to a 1-0 ODAC men's soccer victory over Shenandoah Tuesday afternoon.

Bryan Lutz scored at 32:32 for the Yellow Jackets (9-8, 5-5 ODAC) to help R-MC solidify its ODAC Tournament hopes.

Shenandoah (5-9-2, 2-6-2), which entered the game tied for eighth in the league standings, was looking to take a major step forward with its tournament hopes.

SU has one more chance to add to its point total; the Hornets host Randolph College on Saturday at 4:30 in a Senior Day contest.

The 'Jackets outshot Shenandoah 31-5 and had all 17 of the game's corner kicks.

SU goalkeeper Keegan Fairchild kept his side in it with nine saves.
