LYNCHBURG, Va. - Host Randolph College earned its first ODAC men's lacrosse win of the season by downing Shenandoah 12-8 Saturday afternoon.
Shenandoah (4-10, 0-7 ODAC) scored the game's initial two goals, but could only watch as Randolph (5-9, 1-7) answered with a five-goal run to take a lead it would not relinquish.
After Stephen LaTona scored off of a Tilghman Sanders assist with 3:14 to play in the first, the Hornets were held off the board until Sanders opened the second half scoring at the 12:46 mark of the third.

The 'Cats ended the third with a 4-1 run and never led their lead fall below four goals the rest of the way.
Paul led Shenandoah with four goals and one assist with LaTona adding two goals and Sanders a goal and two assists.
