ROANOKE, Va. – The Shenandoah University women's volleyball team got back to its winning ways Wednesday evening with a 3-0 ODAC sweep over Hollins University.
The Hornets (10-12, 2-5 ODAC) earned their 10th victory of the season with wins at 5, 12, and 16 over Hollins (2-18, 0-7).
SU was dominant throughout the match with 11 kills in the first set, 16 in the second, and 17 in the final set to seal the victory.
Caylin Harris led the victors offensive attack totaling 13 of these kills on just 17 attacks, while Kaitlyn Kelley added another 11.
Rachel Cerretani and Jasmine Callahan combined for 36 of the teams 38 assists with 26 and 10, respectively.
Kelley landed four service aces for the Hornets. Harris, Callahan, Cerretani, and Elizabeth Lamont each added two of their own.
Lamont led SU's defensive effort with 15 digs on the match.
The Hornets look to add to their win total this Friday as they welcome in Randolph to Shingleton Gymnasium for a 7 p.m. ODAC matchup.
