WINCHESTER, Va. - No. 13 Washington and Lee dropped just one game on its way to an 8-1 ODAC women's tennis victory over Shenandoah Friday afternoon.
The Generals (13-5, 8-0 ODAC) swept all three doubles matches at love before doing the same in the top four singles contests.
Shenandoah (8-6, 3-6) got its win via walkover at No. 6 singles. Audrea Wright picked up that victory for the Hornets.
At No. 5, Kelsey Nicely took a game off of DeeDee Aeschliman in a 6-0, 6-1 loss.
Shenandoah completes its regular season Saturday with a 1 p.m. ODAC contest against Virginia Wesleyan.
Seniors Molly Barb, Amy Rapp and Caitlin Tilton will be honored prior to the match.
