LYNCHBURG, Va. – Host Lynchburg College scored four first half goals on its way to a 5-0 ODAC men's soccer victory over Shenandoah Wednesday evening.
LC (9-1-1, 3-0 ODAC) scored in the sixth, eighth, 26th and 30th minutes to take a 4-0 lead over SU (2-9-1, 0-2-1).
The two teams played a scoreless second half until Lynchburg tallied unassisted with six seconds remaining.
Shenandoah goalkeeper Sam Fischer, who saw 30 Lynchburg shots, made 11 saves.
LC also had an 11-1 advantage in corner kicks.
The Shenandoah men continue this road trip on Saturday with a 4 p.m. ODAC contest at Hampden-Sydney.
