GLASSBORO, N.J. – The Shenandoah University volleyball team split its non-league tri-match at Rowan University Saturday afternoon.
The Hornets (6-13) rallied for a 3-2 win over host Rowan (9-12) before Arcadia (13-7) was a 3-1 victor in the middle match of the day.
Trailing 2-0 after falling at 19 in the first two sets of the Rowan match, Shenandoah rallied with 25-23, 25-22 and 15-10 wins in the sets three through five to steal the victory.
Kaitlyn Kelley had a co-match-high 16 kills with Caylin Harris adding 10.
Emily Veach had 20 assists and Megan Hillyard 19 in the winning effort.
Kelley also had 23 digs with Nicole Shannon chipping in 21 and Hillyard 13.
Arcadia won 26-24, 25-19, 24-26, 25-19 in a tight match.
Emily Cheatwood had eight kills while Harris and Michelle DiVito posted seven each.
Hillyard and Kayla Robey ran the offense with 16 and 13 assists, respectively.
Defensively, Shannon had a match-high 26 digs.
The Hornets are at Bridgewater Wednesday night in a 7 p.m. contest.
