Goucher Rallies Past Men's Soccer

TOWSON, Md. – Host Goucher College scored a pair of second half goals Saturday afternoon to down Shenandoah University, 3-1, in non-league men's soccer action.

After Shenandoah (2-4) knotted the game at 1-1 on a Nino Tadaro to Sam Natkin goal in the 51st minute, Goucher (4-3) scored in the 58th and 86th minutes to secure the victory.

Aiden Devaney had the game-winner, dribbling into the middle of the 18-yard box and ripping his 10-yard shot past Hornets goalkeeper Sam Fischer.

The Gophers controlled possession throughout the game, taking 20 of the game's 27 shots and earning six of the 10 corners granted.

Fischer had five saves.

The Hornets return home Tuesday evening for a 7 p.m. non-league contest versus Hood.
