GREENSBORO, N.C. – Guilford College earned its second ODAC volleyball victory of the season with a 3-1 win over visiting Shenandoah Saturday afternoon.
Shenandoah (4-6, 0-2 ODAC) was a 27-25 winner in the opening set, but GC (7-3, 2-1) came back to sweep the Hornets at 14, 20 and 23 to claim the victory.
Kaitlyn Kelley and Caylin Harris both had 10 kills for SU with Emily Cheatwood adding seven.
Megan Hillyard ran the Shenandoah offense by dishing up 25 of the squad's 37 kills. She added 13 digs to post the double-double with Nicole Shannon recording a match-high 22 digs.
Cheatwood also had two blocks solo and four blocks assisted.
The Hornets continue this road trip Sunday with a 1:30 p.m. ODAC match at Emory and Henry.
