WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University volleyball team completed its play at the University of Scranton Tournament Saturday with a pair of losses.
Shenandoah (1-3) lost 3-0 in the opener to host Scranton before Wells took a 3-1 victory in the nightcap.
The Royals (4-0) won at 14, 18 and 22 in the opening match to complete their play at their own tournament with an undefeated record.
Senior Kaitlyn Kelley paced SU with eight kills while sophomore Emily Cheatwood added six.
Nicole Shannon had 21 of the Hornets 44 digs to lead the defense.
Against Wells (3-1), the Express won 25-11 in the opening set and at 21 and 22 in sets three and four to secure the victory.
Shenandoah was a 28-26 victor in the second set.
Kelley again led the offense, again posting eight kills, with Caylin Harris matching her and Michelle DiVito adding six.
Megan Hillyard had 13 assists and 13 digs to post a double-double.
Shannon had 16 digs, Madison Inzunza 12 and Kelley 11 digs to round out the double-digit performers.
Kelley was named to the All-Tournament team.
SU travels to Penn St. - Altoona on Tuesday.
