WINCHESTER, Va. – Visiting Virginia Wesleyan scored in the final minute of overtime to earn a 2-1 ODAC women's soccer victory over Shenandoah Wednesday evening.

The Marlins (8-3-3, 4-2-1 ODAC) got a Kennedi Anders golden goal with 25 seconds remaining to slip past Shenandoah (10-6, 5-3).

Pencile took the feed from Morris and beat Marlins keeper Amruta Karakare on the doorstep to knot the contest at 1-1.

The two teams were both unable to put a shot on goal in the remaining 13:46 of regulation and initial 10 minutes of sudden victory overtime, but that all changed over the final 10 minutes.
