SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – Shenandoah University fell to Albright College on Thursday morning in a 68-43 non-league contest played at the Puerto Rico Clasico.
Shenandoah (3-5) took an early lead, jumping out with seven of the first nine points of the game, until the Lions (6-4) went on an 8-2 run to take the lead permanently.

The Hornets were held to just 13 points for the remainder of the half.
Alan Dabney drained two from beyond the arc early on and Chris Oates added one at the two-minute mark to bring the deficit down to six.
Shenandoah shot a collective 8-for-28 (30.8%) from the field in the first half compared to Albright's 9-for-15 (60%) and trailed 33-25 at the break.
The Lions' defense came out hot after halftime, holding SU to just five points in the opening ten minutes on their way to 26-point lead. Jalen Hill snapped that run with a layup.
Shenandoah was able to register 16 more points during the remainder of the game.
