WINCHESTER, Va. – Shenandoah University suffered through a cold shooting night in a 74-56 non-league men's basketball loss to Marymount University Wednesday evening.

Shenandoah (3-3) saw its three-game winning streak snapped with the 18-point loss to the Saints (6-2).
IN BRIEF
The Hornets were held to 17 points in the first half as they shot 22 percent (7-of-32) from the field.

Marymount, which came into the game winners of four of its last five, shot an even 50 percent (12-of-24) in the opening stanza to take a 31-17 lead into the break.

SU was much better in the second, shooting 52 percent (16-of-31), but could get no closer than 12 points.

The Saints scored 14 of the first 18 points of the second half.
