Women's Tennis Downs Guilford

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Shenandoah University women's tennis team earned its first ODAC win of the season Tuesday with a 7-2 victory at Guilford.

Shenandoah (2-2, 1-1 ODAC) jumped out to a 3-0 lead after doubles before clinching the victory with wins at Nos. 4 and 6 singles.

IN BRIEF

Madison Hansen, Megan Hillyard, Caitlin Bennett and Madison Hoilman were all double winners for the Hornets. Hoilman, at No. 6 singles, had the match-clinching win.

Shenandoah is back on the courts on Saturday at 2 p.m. in an ODAC road match at Roanoke.
