Roanoke Shuts Out Women's Tennis

SALEM, Va. - Host Roanoke College kept its ODAC women's tennis record perfect on the season with a 9-0 victory over Shenandoah Saturday afternoon.

The Maroons (4-2, 2-0) won six of the nine matches at love over Shenandoah (2-3, 1-2).

IN BRIEF

Madison Hansen and Megan Hillyard had the closest match for SU, falling 8-5 at No. 1 doubles.

In singles, Emma Crue lost 6-1, 6-2 to Madeline Herring at No. 3.

UP NEXT

Shenandoah is off until hosting Notre Dame (Md.) on March 31 in a 1 p.m. non-league match.
