'Jackets Shut Out Women's Tennis

ASHLAND, Va. - Host Randolph-Macon dropped just three games in earning a 9-0 ODAC women's tennis victory over Shenandoah University Saturday afternoon.

Macon (13-2, 10-2 ODAC) lost just one game in doubles and two in singles in earning the shutout over Shenandoah (4-10, 2-9).

IN BRIEF

Caitlin Bennett had both of the wins in singles, taking one game in each set at No. 5.

The Yellow Jackets won at love at Nos. 1 through 4 and R-MC won at No. 6 in a walkover.

Emma Crue and Megan Hillyard fell 8-1 at No. 2 doubles.
