WINCHESTER, Va. – The Shenandoah University women's lacrosse team kept its ODAC record perfect on the season with a 17-2 victory over Randolph College Wednesday evening.
Shenandoah (8-3, 3-0 ODAC) scored the first 16 goals of the game as it totally dominated Randolph (2-7, 0-3).
IN BRIEF
The Hornets held the WildCats to just nine shots on the night while taking 39 of their own.
SU scored six goals in the first 10 minutes of the game and reached the 10-goal mark with 11 minutes to play in the first.
Leading 16-0 following a Shannon Kelley unassisted goal with 20:01 remaining, the Hornets saw Randolph score two of the final three goals of the contest.
Thirteen different women registered at least one point for the victors with Kaitlyn Morris leading the way with three goals and two assists for five points.
Nikki Zerna added two goals and two assists.
