Dr. Bridget Lyons and Head Athletic Trainer
Mike Kotelnicki, A.T.,C. announced Tuesday that
Josh Rader has been promoted to associate head athletic trainer.

Rader is heading into his 10
th year at Shenandoah and primarily works with the Hornets men's soccer, basketball and baseball teams.
Â
"Josh very much deserves this promotion," Kotelnicki said.
Â
"He is an excellent clinician that always has student-athlete care as his No. 1 priority.
Â
"All of our student-athletes, our fellow AT professionals, and the coaches on staff, respect the work that Josh does every day. He helps us make us more successful on the field because of the work he does off of it."

In Rader's nine years on staff, he has been a part of 11 regular season, conference tournament or NCAA regional tournament championship teams.

The Winchester native is a 2007 James Madison University graduate and earned his master's degree from Alvernia in 2009.
