Men's Soccer Rallies For Win

Tops Penn College, 2-1

WILLIAMSPORT, Md. – The Shenandoah University men's soccer team earned its third win of the season Sunday by rallying for a 2-1 non-league victory at Penn College.
 
Shenandoah (3-4) scored a pair of goals midway through the second half to earn the victory over the Wildcats (0-5).

IN BRIEF

After Penn College scored the only goal of the first half, in the 29th minute, Braden Gallant brought the game back to level with an unassisted goal at 55:52.
 
Gallant's goal came on a free kick and he perfectly placed his shot into the upper 90 of the right side of the goal.
 
Seven minutes later, Demitri Gellios headed home a deflected corner kick for what proved to be the game-winner.
 
Michael Romeo had five saves in earning the win.
