WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University women's soccer team fell 2-0 to Dickinson College Tuesday night in non-league action.
The Red Devils (4-0-2) scored one goal in each half to dispatch the Hornets (5-3).
IN BRIEF
The two teams played extremely even on the night, with Shenandoah outshooting its visitors, 11-9, thanks to a 6-4 second half advantage in shots.
Unfortunately for the home faithful, Dickinson made the most of its opportunities, scoring on a nice goal 25 minutes in and getting the lone goal of the second half midway through the stanza.
Anna Jacobson had three saves for the Hornets in the losing effort.
