WINCHESTER, Va. – Visiting Bridgewater College held Shenandoah University off the board for the first three quarters in a 35-17 ODAC football victory Saturday evening.

Bridgewater (3-0, 1-0 ODAC) scored touchdowns on its first two drives and led 21-0 at halftime to take the win over Shenandoah (1-1, 0-1).

Stewart's first touchdown came on the opening play of the fourth quarter as junior quarterback
Ben Agostino found Stewart for a 32-yard score.

The Eagles turned the ball over on their next drive, thanks to a Bernie Hayes strip-and-recovery of Deshon Holmes. After SU advanced the ball an additional seven yards, Ritchie split the uprights for the 33-yard field goal.

The late-game offense allowed Shenandoah to outgain Bridgewater, 441 to 424.

The Eagles were very balanced, gaining 221 yards passing and 203 on the ground. Demetrus Jalepes had 13 carries for 125 yards for the visitors. All but 27 of those yards came in the first half.

Stewart had 115 yards receiving on seven catches with
Jake Wallace posting seven receptions for 106 yards.

Agostino and Rhodenizer were a combined 29 of 49 for 325 yards and two TDs.

Hayes had eight tackles to lead the defense.
