Randolph Downs Men's Soccer

LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's soccer team fell 4-1 to Randolph College on Saturday in the Hornets first ODAC game of the season.

After a scoreless and defensive stronghold in the first half, the WildCats (6-3-1, 1-0 ODAC) scored four in the second to defeat the Hornets (4-5, 0-1). 

Shenandoah broke up the four Randolph tallies with a Hector Colon goal in the 73rd minute. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

RAND 46:05 | Just over a minute into second half play, Evan Blow took a corner from the right side. Noah Carney redirected the shot past the Hornet defense. 

RAND 59:26 | Daniel Over scored an unassisted goal for the WildCats. 

SU 72:08 | Kane Melendez took on multiple defenders down the left sideline taking it all the way into the box near the post. Melendez crossed the ball right in front of the net where Hector Colon poked the ball to the far post past the keeper. 

RAND 88:57 | Gabe Kruger scored off a Noah Carney assist. 

RAND 89:33 | Niles Brown scored an unassisted goal.
