Women's Soccer Claws 'Cats

Defeat Randolph, 4-1

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Shenandoah University women's soccer earned its second ODAC win of the season Saturday with a 4-1 victory at Randolph College.
 
Alison Spaziani broke a 1-1 tie with a goal off of a Maiya Pencile assist in the 15th minute to push SU (7-3, 2-0 ODAC) past the WildCats (4-2-2, 0-1).
 

IN BRIEF

Emma Librizzi gave SU the early lead with an unassisted goal in the eighth minute only to see the 'Cats tie it six minutes later.
 
Spaziani's goal, her third of the season, put the Hornets on top to stay.
 
In the second half, Pencile tallied in the 41st minute before Spaziani closed the book on the day's scoring with an unassisted goal at 46:43.

Emilie Smith had three saves in making her second straight start in goal.
