ROANOKE, Va. – The Shenandoah University volleyball split its ODAC tri-match at Hollins University Saturday afternoon.

Host Hollins (11-7, 1-3 ODAC) swept Shenandoah (5-12, 1-4) in the opening match before the Hornets downed Randolph (7-7, 2-3) in four sets in the nightcap.Â

The third set was epic as the two teams were tied at 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26. 27, 28, and 29 before Hollins was able to close out the match by combining a ball handling error with a kill.

Shenandoah fought off match points at 27, 28 and 29 to extend the match and had its own chance to win on serve at 26.
